ABOUT OUR MASTER ELECTRICIAN

 Defiance Electric is a licensed electrical contractor that proudly serves the Western Slope. With an extensive service technician background, we are able to offer a broad scope of services for residential, commercial and institutional industries. 

The company was formed after hearing many complaints from locals about electrical contractors not returning calls, not showing up, and providing a subpar finished product. We want to change customers' minds about what they can expect out of an electrical contractor; our focus is not only on the finished product but also exceptional customer service.  

Defiance Electric is locally owned and operated by Michael Clark, an experienced electrician since 2008. Having grown up in Glenwood Springs, Mike is a Western Slope native, and currently resides in Palisade with his wife and daughter. Like many Coloradans, working with his hands is in Mike’s blood - his father was an electrician and contractor in the Roaring Fork Valley. Mike has been fascinated by electricity ever since he was a kid and his dad told him about his work as an electrician in the I-70 Glenwood Springs Canyon tunnel and the coal mines. Mike says that making something work with the flip of a switch or a push of a button is magical. Mike has always been inquisitive, enjoys a technical challenge and is driven by seeing the lightbulb turn on, literally and figuratively!
